Bottles, Barrels and Brews Occupational Guide

Locally produced  spirits, beers and wines are popping up more and more frequently in many bars and restaurants.  Have you ever wondered what jobs within distilleries, breweries or wineries look like?  Then we encourage you to read the Bottles, Barrels and Brews Occupational Guide!

Through generous funding from the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Workforce WindsorEssex has  developed this guide which highlights key occupations within beverage manufacturing and beverage production.  Occupations are categorized as they relate to The Source, The Taste and the Finished Good and The Experience.  Skills and key competencies are also included to allow the reader to see where their strengths could bring benefit to this growing industry.

Each distillery, brewery or winery will have their own unique challenges, but all are committed to producing a high quality end product.  In order to do so, a skilled workforce is required to get the job done right and to provide the best product to the customer.
